Agh. Work called me again for tonight to close.
3rd time in a week and a half or something like that? Moreso 2 weeks, but being called in sucks.
I can understand covering someone's shift-- that way I know ahead of time, rather than having to last-minute drop anything I've planned for the afternoon/evening.
The only good thing about being called in is the extra $$$, but sometimes it doesn't feel like it's worth what I feel like afterwards. Especially for closing, and I get to do that again on Friday. Fuck.

Hmm... so today was a rather busy day at work.
My co-worker was late by about an... hour and a half, so I had to take my break that hour and a half later.
I ended up getting off at 5, which was originally scheduled.
Tomorrow I'm going in from 2pm-9pm, then something like Thursday 11-5, and Friday 4-closing?
If I'm not working friday I might end up covering Jordan's shift.
Uh, I'm getting slowly addicted to Persona.

Erm, yet again... I don't really have much to update about.
Work is going fine, longer hours are coming ahead for the next month, which includes me getting off at 1:00 AM. Fuck yeah. :[
Mmm... I impaled my right foot with a centimeter-long piece of summat which left me limping for two days.
Badminton final is coming up tuesday, as well as my sociology final being pretty soon as well? Not too sure.
I'm still trying to convince Hatem and Lynette to go to Bonnnnaarrrroooo this year, and it's going pretty well.

Other than that, nothing! And wtf is up with the heroes season finale on monday? Is it really the final episode for this year? :(

I'm finding myself quite busy this semester. I'm really not quite bothered by it as much as I complain about it. To be quite honest, I really shouldn't be complaining at all. The tasks I'm given are nothing compared to some people; but, I have to take things at my own pace-- even if it means holding of transferring for another semester or two.

The organization for battle of the bands is quite a mess. I still don't understand the point of the audition system. Thank god we have a panel of at least 5(?) judges (including myself) who are quite open to different varieties of music. I'm just somewhat concerned about how some bands will be judged depending on their genre. The deal with MTV-U was finally done (at least to my knowledge), and I'm more than sure that there's going to media coverage on the event... which is still ways to go. So far, the "prizes" that I've heard from Robyn + Emmanuel are 500$ and something to do with NoVA? Recording time perhaps? No idea.

Other than Battle of the Bands, I find my schooling to be going... rather downhill. I skipped a MAJORITY of last week due to "illness". I have the energy to sit around the SGA office and help out with whatever I can, but going to class seemed to be too overwhelming, and just caused more headaches and impatience. Math for Liberal Arts is quite possibly the fucking worst subject that anyone could ever take. Who the hell needs to have an equation to know how to negate a statement?
Example given in class was something along the lines of:
"If I love her, then she will love me back".
-Setting up the problem goes something along the lines of: P -> Q.
-Negate (~) "P" and you're left with ~Q.
"If I don't love her, then she won't love me back".

I hate it. It's really nothing that I need to know, just another requirement on my general studies program. Hooray.

Other than that, nothing interesting has really happened this week. I've met a lot of interesting people... but that's really about it. Highlight of my day? Hanging out in front of the CT building with Robert... and having him read me a short-story. Interesting. haha

What an awkwardfest.
It wasn't awkward in the sense that I thought it would be.
Alright, here it goes:
Adam picks me up and drive to Will's house, only to find out that Will went to Springfield to go pick up Billy, who is the person that Will likes.
A girl named Jennifer is also with Will, and we all meet up at Will's house to go to Clara's house together.
We get to Clara's house to wait for Colin and Sarah, and eat ice-cream pops.
After that we split into two cars and drive towards Baltimore (this is the beginning of the awkwardness).
So it's Billy, Jennifer, and Will in one car; Adam, Clara, Colin, Sarah, and myself in one.
We get to Baltimore first since we were going about... 80mph the whole time.
Will text's Adam saying that he got lost and Adam explains just to go straight (2nd).
Colin and I smoked a bowl, while Adam, Clara, and Sarah just sat outside and waited.
We head off to pride and get a couple beads only to find our little fun is rained on when Will calls Adam, telling him that he's gonna go home soon.
Apparently Will lost his wallet (3rd), and we can't really do anything about it since we were separated from them.
Adam and I decide that we have to go home now since we don't have a ride back, and Will is Adam's best friend-- so might as well.
We head over to Will only to find him VERY angry for the 3 reasons I listed above, not that they were anything gigantic... except the wallet thing.
They got in a big fight over everything before we get into the car.
Awkward car ride back to Springfield, stopping by the mall to check in with Lost and Found security.
Will dropped Jennifer off, then Adam and myself at Adam's car.
Adam drove me back to my house in almost complete silence.

I feel so awkward.

Shit, I haven't listened to Head Automatica in the longest time!
Even though I don't enjoy their latest album as much as their old one, they're still good.
So I'm coping a bit better; out of alcohol as well as weed, but I'll deal.
Oh, and I hate my fucking BIO teacher.
He's senile and asks us questions that are too vague to answer basically.
I'll pass all the labs with no problem, but the quizzes I'll have a harder time to deal with.
